 | Cristian Solis Co-owner, Patagonia Learning Adventures - Chile Cristian was born and raised in the Aysén region of Chile, Cristian studied guiding with the Guide's School of Patagonia, where he specialized in trekking. Cristian is the son of pioneers to the region. His family was one of the founding families of Lago Verde, and actively maintains their original family farm, Santa Sudelía, now in its third generation. Cristian is passionate about protecting the natural and cultural heritage of Patagonia – and loves to explore new routes. |
 | Trace Gale, MBA, PhD Owner, Patagonia Learning Adventures - USA, Co-Owner, Patagonia Learning Adventures Chile Trace was born in Wilmington, Delaware and grew up in the U.S. She earned a MBA from Villanova University and a PhD from West Virginia University. Trace lives full time in Patagonia, researching and consulting in the area of scientific tourism, livelihood sustainability, and sustainable development. Her outdoor passions include trekking, fly-fishing, and sea kayaking. |
 | Mary Brys, MS Guide, Patagonia Learning Adventures - USA Mary grew up outside of Cleveland, Ohio, where she was an avid equestrian and outdoor enthusiast. She studied Recreation, Parks, and Tourism Resources as an undergraduate, and received her Master’s from West Virginia University in Forestry, Sustainable Tourism and Outdoor Education. She is an avid photographer who enjoys all things outdoors. Mary fell in love with Patagonia for its incredible treks – both on foot and on horse and now bounces between both hemispheres putting together custom adventures and helping to guide our treks. Currently, she is learning the art of natural horsemanship from PLA guides in Patagonia. |

| Oscar Soto Guide, Patagonia Learning Adventures - Chile Oscar was raised in the tiny border town of Lago Verde, Chile, in the northern part of the Aysén region. His specialties include trekking, kayaking, and glacier hiking. He loves to explore new routes within the region and beyond. His most recent adventure involved exploring national parks in the southwestern United States where he spent time enjoying the deserts of Utah and Arizona and expanded his English skills. Oscar's other passion is working with kids in Aysén to expand their leadership and outdoor skills. |
 | Daniel Torres, Regional Guide of Aysén Guide, Patagonia Learning Adventures - Chile Daniel also grew up with the region of Aysén and currently lives in the tiny seaside town of Tortel in the southern part of the region. Daniel is a graduate of the Guide's School of Patagonia. He is an expert in most of the adventure activities that take place in the region with a special passion for sea-kayaking. When not guiding with Patagonia Learning Adventures you can find Daniel in Tortel, where his has is own guiding service that offers kayaking in the fiords and visits to nearby glaciers. |
